"The detective? He found my bangles." Kamala holds up her wrist to show them off; all fused together to make them almost look like armor. "He's like one of those noir guys who lost everything over a case, but still pursued it anyways? Super cool if you ask me... You know minus the part where he lost everything."
Kamala is so confused by the question. "A wedding gift to the bride? She passed them down to her daughter and then her daughter's daughter, and then you get the picture."
