Oh, no. She just... well she saved all of our lives like a bunch of times. I saw her once in person when she was doing it for the 19238012 time and yeah. She's so amazing. I have a poster of her back home like everyone else. We all love her.

[ Lucky isn't exactly the word. There's a part of Apollo that knows the dreadful (literally) reputation that metahumans have in his world is mostly deserved. Luck has nothing to do with cause and effect. There's a notable hesitation in his voice before answers: ]

...A lot of them are scared of us. Sometimes the word 'superhero' is down to how good your PR is.

Yeah that makes a sad amount of sense. I'm sorry that's happening to you guys.

[ God, the way Kamala says it makes it almost sound like it has been out of their control. Apollo wars with the impulse to say something - 'actually, it's kind of our fault; we do stupid things like take over America and kill the president, silly things like that' - but he bites his tongue. Just. ]

Tell me more about your heroes. [ It's better than talking about his own world, at least. ] Who else do you have, besides Captain Marvel?

A lot. So the Avengers and the X-Men are pretty much the face of all this since the Fantastic Four just kind of does their own science adventure thing. Some try not to kill, others do, but basically everyone is fighting really hard to save our world. We have so many problems even though it's also really normal??? The rosters are so insane that I'd need at least a day to name them and all the associated teams.

[ This - this is fascinating. Apollo had always taken a dim view of other 'superheroes' on his own world outside of the Authority; all they had been interested in was preserving the status quo, not creating a finer world. ]

Which is the best team, do you think? Who does the best work?

Uh... technically the Fantastic Four because all their work has to do with exploration and scientific advancement. Teams who save the world? Probably the Avengers. I love the X-Men, but they kind of cause a lot of their crises.
