That actually tracks. I'm not about to pretend that I know anything about vampires that doesn't come from a story which spoilers basically make you all sound like evil monsters who prey on teenage girls/20-somethings.

I do know about people not liking you for who you are so we're cool as long as you don't do something horrible, okay? Obviously the same goes for me. You're totally entitled to hate me if I do something bad too. We're in the middle of a kidnapping here. We don't exactly have time to tolerate bad behavior from anyone.
